We create an App Store offer code with your pool’s name. Members redeem it in the app and get a welcome offer.
Swimmers choose to share
After redeeming, each swimmer decides whether your coaches can see their swims. Nothing is shared without that choice.
Coaches follow the swims
Every swim shows up in your coaching dashboard: distance, pace, stroke count, SWOLF, effort and the verdict Blue Lap gave.

Privacy, watches, money.
What does a coach actually see?
Date, distance, time, pace, strokes, SWOLF, the swimmer’s effort rating and the Blue Lap verdict. Heart rate only if the swimmer turns that on. Never raw sensor data, never location.
Can a swimmer stop sharing?
Yes, in one tap, any time. Their data is deleted from our servers when they do. Sharing is a choice the swimmer makes, not the pool.
Which watches work?
Apple Watch, Garmin and any watch that syncs swims to Apple Health. Yards and meters are both fine, and Blue Lap knows which pool each swim happened in.
Does the pool pay anything?
No. Blue Lap is sold to swimmers through the App Store, and your members get a members-only price with your pool’s code. The coaching dashboard is free for your coaches, with no contract and no minimum.
I coach on my own, without a pool. Can I use this?
Yes. Independent coaches get a free coach account: invite your swimmers, follow their swims, assign sets.
